The Improv Handbook by Tom Salinsky and Deborah Frances-White will be published by Continuum Books in January 2008. It aims to cover all aspects of performance improvisation, including a complete how-to guide, suitable for teachers, performers or anyone else who takes an interest.
You can see it in Continuum's 2008 Pop Culture catalogue, here:

Today, we handed in our first draft to the publisher. We have one or two bits and pieces still to add, but the bulk of it is there. Originally estimated at 100,000 words, it's turned about to be over 150,000. Of course, it's always possible that it will shrink again in the editing process.
On these pages, we will provide some extracts, describe the editing process, and once the book in on sale, we will be delighted to hear from our readers, regardless of whether they agree with what we've written or think we're the very devil.
We can't wait!
